How did Jack Lanzillotti and Jessica Campbell, a young Boston couple, spend their last hours? Together, and strolling through Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, reports the Boston Globe. And we know this because the 27-year-old Campbell posted this photo to Instagram about 5:30pm last Saturday of the sun setting over the Charles River, with the caption, “Little sunset action on the esplanade." Shortly after 9pm, both were killed in a freak accident. Police say one car slammed into another at an intersection, flipped, and struck the couple, who were still strolling, reports MyFox Boston. Two people in the cars suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident remains murky: Alghazali Ghuzlan, 26, was arrested Monday night and faced two counts of motor vehicle homicide, but Boston reports she was released without charges for now after "conflicting information" surfaced, per the Suffolk District Attorney's office. "The identity of the vehicle operator is the primary focus of the investigation," said a rep for the office. Family and friends, meanwhile, are remembering the "wonderful, wonderful couple," reports the Boston Herald. The 28-year-old Lanzillotti worked with the Red Sox producing videos, while Campbell was a retail analyst. (In another bizarre crash, a woman in Canada faces life in prison for causing a double-fatality after she stopped to rescue ducks.)
