It's time to mine the couch cushions for change again, because enough pennies could buy you bragging rights to an entire town: This time, it's tiny Swett, SD, that's up for sale. And, as the Rapid City Journal reports, $399,000 will get you the Swett Tavern, a workshop, three trailers, the town's lone house, and just north of six acres. Current owner and half the population Lance Benson says he hates to sell Swett, and "if I don't sell it this first year, I would probably keep it." He says the population peaked at 40 decades ago; he's owned it since 1998. But the tavern, the only one for 10 miles, still draws people in. "This place is pretty much where the highway ends and the Wild West begins," jokes one patron. Click here for the listing. (More Swett, SD stories.)
