There are still more questions than answers, at least publicly, surrounding the mysterious case of Abigail Hernandez, the New Hampshire girl who is back home after going missing nine months ago—but a suspect in the case was arrested today, and charged with kidnapping her. Nathaniel E. Kibby, 34, of Gorham, NH, was charged with "knowingly confining Abigail Hernandez … with a purpose to commit an offense against her," says the state attorney general in a statement, according to the Washington Post.

No further details are expected until a media briefing after Kibby's arraignment tomorrow, but the statement does go on to say that Hernandez, 15, "provided the police with details of her kidnapping sufficient to warrant today’s arrest." Her mother, Zenya Hernandez, went on Today this morning and disputed some of the rumors swirling around the case: "The majority of people somehow believe that she was pregnant; she was not," she said. "She did not run away." And she was "very thin" and "very pale" upon her return home, she added. (More missing teen stories.)
