Memphis' Chris Douglas-Roberts had an astonishing 32 points and Antonio Anderson another 27, but the Tigers still nearly lost last night's game—and their perfect record—to a determined UAB. In a 77-70 hole with 83 seconds remaining, the NCAA's top-ranked team showed the Blazers what they're made of, reports the Commercial Appeal.

With the score at 78-76 and 6.5 seconds left, Douglas-Roberts sank a jumper and drew the foul. Though he went only 3-of-6 for free throws on the game, the junior guard nailed this one to stave off overtime. The Tigers, now 25-0, "just knew we were going to pull it out," said Doneal Mack.
