Walmart's new strategy of blaming Tracy Morgan for the injuries he suffered when a company truck plowed into his limo has caught the attention of Morgan himself. "After I heard what Walmart said in court, I felt I had to speak out," reads a statement from the comedian obtained by the New York Daily News. "I can't believe Walmart is blaming me for an accident that they caused. My friends and I were doing nothing wrong." Walmart maintains that Morgan and two others injured in the deadly crash weren't wearing seat belts and might have avoided serious injury if they were. The company today said that its legal filing is "part of the ordinary course of legal proceedings" and that it remains "committed to doing what's right." (The Walmart driver has been charged in the crash, which killed Morgan friend James McNair.)
