Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are running neck and neck in Texas, while Clinton holds a significant but tenuous lead in Ohio, according to a Washington Post-ABC News Poll. Heading into the crucial March 4 primaries, Clinton leads Obama 48% to 47% in Texas, and 50% to 43% in Ohio .

Clinton holds a significant lead among white women—by 17 points in Texas and 35 in Ohio. She has also grabbed a 12-point lead among white men in Ohio. Latinos, seniors, voters with less education, and those with lower incomes also break for Clinton. Obama leads among white men in Texas, and is backed 4 to 1 among blacks, as well as by independents and better educated voters in both states. (More Hillary Clinton stories.)
