Guests at Ashton Kutcher's birthday bash may have brought home more than just goodie bags, E! Online reports. The big shots celebrating the star's 30th birthday at a swanky New York club are being urged by the state health department to get vaccinations—turns out, one of the bartenders working the party had hepatitis A.

Although the virus is most commonly spread through contact with fecal matter, authorities say vaccination is a wise precaution. The disease can cause nausea, jaundice, and fatigue, which likely wouldn't help the careers of guests such as Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Liv Tyler, Madonna, Lucy Liu, or Salma Hayek. Kutcher and wife Demi Moore have no comment on the incident. (More hepatitis A stories.)
