Already the reason we can't have chocolate bars or nice ladies from Florida named Isis, the terrorists of ISIS may affect another unlikely place: Downton Abbey. Specifically, Lord and Lady Grantham's dog, the inconveniently named Isis, which an ITV rep tells the Independent is an "unfortunate coincidence." Now, the British press is all aflutter with rumors that the show is killing off Isis, who the Hollywood Reporter notes is at least 12 years old, thus "it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for her to head quietly to that great big kennel in the sky." NOTE: A mild Season 5 spoiler follows.

The UK is currently airing Season 5, which won't hit American shores until January, and it seems that in the current episode, the Granthams are discussing the dog, who is feeling under the weather. She does, the Reporter notes, survive the episode. (More Downton Abbey stories.)
