Longtime drummer Phil Rudd has been accused of doing some dirty deeds. The only Australian-born musician of the Australian rock band AC/DC—which is expected to release its latest album, Rock or Bust, later this year—has been arrested by New Zealand police at his home on New Zealand's North Island. He's charged with attempting to arrange a murder and threatening to kill, as well as possession of cannabis and methamphetamine, reports the BBC.

Rudd, 60, did not speak in court and was released on bail after entering no plea to the charges. He is due to reappear in court in three weeks. According to police, Rudd was in cahoots with a hitman to try to kill two men, reports Stuff. Rudd has been rumored to be parting once again with the band (he left in 1983 and rejoined in 1994) since AC/DC released a promotional photo without the drummer, reports news.com.au. The band, which has also seen the recent departure of guitarist Malcolm Young due to dementia, has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide. (Meanwhile, AC/DC has also gotten into the business of selling wine.)
