Not only is a Kentucky man accused in the murder of his family, he's also accused of killing the man he allegedly hired to do the deed. Police say Ryan Champion, 36, asked Vito Riservato, 22, to kill his parents and sister in western Kentucky, but the apparent murder-for-hire plot "didn't end up that way," a prosecutor tells the AP. "In a murder for hire, he would've got paid, but ... he was murdered." Riservato was found shot to death in the family home in Cadiz, along with Lindsey and Joy Champion and their daughter, Emily, 31. Ryan Champion told WSMV last month that Riservato entered the house and started shooting, but Champion "was able to turn the tables on him." He was arrested Oct. 31. A prosecutor says he'll seek the death penalty. (More Tennessee stories.)
