"There's been an awakening. Have you felt it?" That's the ominous-sounding question posed by the newly released trailer for the much-anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the JJ Abrams-directed film set for release in December 2015, Wired reports. The clip—which blasts the familiar Star Wars theme music as droids and starfighters rush across the screen, offering glimpses of the characters that we'll soon see fighting for "the dark side and the light"—lasts barely 90 seconds, but it's enough to have riled up a good portion of the Internet today.
"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out their takes based on 88 seconds of movie clips," Time columnist James Poniewozik tweets. The Guardian, which calls the trailer "glorious," has compiled other notable comments, including a series of tweets by William Shatner that inform us he's "learned some things" from the trailer. Meanwhile, more than one commenter notes that the voiceover sounds suspiciously like Benedict Cumberbatch. (More Star Wars stories.)
