"I remember being humiliated, disgusted," Janice Dickinson tells Fredricka Whitfield in a CNN interview last night, describing how Bill Cosby allegedly raped her. The model, who claims the sexual assault took place after a 1982 dinner in Lake Tahoe, went into graphic detail during the interview, saying that the last thing she remembers before blacking out is "Cosby mounting me, like the monster that he was." She says when she woke up the next morning, "there was a lot of pain downstairs" and that she was covered in semen, her PJ bottoms were off, and her top was open. "I packed up and got the hell out of there," she says. Whitfield asked Dickinson why, when Cosby offered her a pill for menstrual cramps, she trusted him, given that he had reportedly offered her red wine knowing she had recently finished a stint in rehab.
"I trusted Bill Cosby," Dickinson said. "Because of his demeanor and the promise of a career…I wanted a television career." When asked what she wants Cosby to do next, Dickinson angrily replied, "I would like Cosby to come out and at least acknowledge that he is a pig, that he is a monster and he has raped me" before breaking down on camera and admitting she doesn't "know how to process these emotions." Meanwhile, Vibe notes that singer/actress Jill Scott rallied for Cosby on Twitter on Sunday, defending him against those "attempting to destroy a magnificent Legacy" and that "I've learned not to believe too much without proof. Especially about someone whose (sic) done so much for our greater good." (Cosby quit his alma mater's board of trustees yesterday.)
