UAE Released Murder Video— to Tune of Batman

If you thought police departments were done issuing crazy/hamfisted/jaw-dropping missives just today, you thought wrong. Abu Dhabi's police arrested a woman in the stabbing murder of an American schoolteacher, and they released video of surveillance footage, the crime scene, and the suspect's arrest—and, as the Telegraph notes, they mystifyingly chose to give it a soundtrack and that soundtrack was The Dark Knight. It's "extremely strange," adds Slate, and reaction on Twitter is trending along the lines of the New York Times' Middle East correspondent: "These Abu Dhabi police vides are getting more COPS every day.
