The No. 7 Duke Blue Devils moved into a tie for first-place in the ACC with a 71-58 victory over Georgia Tech. It is Duke’s second win in a row after dropping two straight. Gerald Henderson and DeMarcus Nelson each had 15 points to lead the Blue Devils. Duke is now 15-0 at home this season, according to the Associated Press.

The Yellow Jackets have now lost five straight games, on the way to a decidedly mediocre 11-15 record on the season. Matt Causey and Gani Lawal each had 10 points to lead Georgia Tech. The Blue Devils were able to earn the win despite shooting just 2-of-15 from beyond the arc. Georgia Tech didn’t attempt a free throw until midway through the second half. (More basketball stories.)
