A Valentine's Day showing of Fifty Shades of Grey got particularly crazy—and not in a BDSM way—when a male patron was allegedly assaulted, the Daily Record reports. He apparently told a group of rambunctious, inebriated female viewers to calm down at a Scottish theater, and they "glassed" him with a bottle or other weapon. "Besides being the worst film I have ever seen, three women were getting arrested and put in a police van when we arrived," says a moviegoer. "There were also several incredibly drunk women vomiting in the aisle and corridor." What's more, he says, theater staff were "tidying up the blood" and "wiping down seats" when he and his wife got inside the Grosvenor Cinema in Glasgow, which serves alcohol.

Police say three women ages 31, 38, and 51 were arrested on disorder and assault charges, but the man wasn't seriously injured. A spokeswoman for the theater says it was an "isolated incident that was dealt with rapidly by cinema staff" and that no one attacked anyone with any kind of glassware. A local man who apparently saw the three women being hauled off to the police station observed that one of the women was in handcuffs, and "looked the worse for wear with drink." Meanwhile, the raunchy flick earned a healthy $81.7 million in the US and $158.3 million internationally over the four-day Valentine's Day weekend, the AP reports—despite receiving such lethargic reviews.
