Scott Walker drew cheers, but it was Rand Paul who ultimately won the latest straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference. It's the third time in a row the senator has taken the prize, CNN reports. This time he garnered 25.7% of the vote. Walker was second, earning 21.4%. Sen. Ted Cruz was third, neurosurgeon Ben Carson fourth, and Jeb Bush fifth, the Washington Times reports. The poll is certainly no guarantee of presidential-nomination success, CNN notes, with past winners including Rudy Giuliani and Gary Bauer (though Mitt Romney did win it in 2012). Some 3,007 people voted in the poll.
