Scott Walker drew cheers, but it was Rand Paul who ultimately won the latest straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference. It's the third time in a row the senator has taken the prize, CNN reports. This time he garnered 25.7% of the vote. Walker was second, earning 21.4%. Sen. Ted Cruz was third, neurosurgeon Ben Carson fourth, and Jeb Bush fifth, the Washington Times reports. The poll is certainly no guarantee of presidential-nomination success, CNN notes, with past winners including Rudy Giuliani and Gary Bauer (though Mitt Romney did win it in 2012). Some 3,007 people voted in the poll. (More Rand Paul stories.)
