Hillary Clinton's email mess just got a little messier. State Department documents obtained by the AP through FOIA show Clinton sent at least four emails to her main advisers from an iPad and a BlackBerry—despite previous claims she preferred just one email and one mobile device for convenience. Personal messages were mixed up with work correspondence, as one 2011 exchange between Clinton and Huma Abedin show, Politico notes. Clinton responded to an email about a Pakistan drone strike with one about home décor: "I like the idea of these. How high are they? What would the bench be made of? And I'd prefer two shelves or attractive boxes/baskets/ conmtainers (sic) on one. What do you think?"

After Abedin replied, "Did u mean to send to me?" Clinton answered, "No-sorry! Also, pls let me know if you got a reply from my ipad. I'm not sure replies go thru." Clinton's spokesman told the AP today that Clinton uses her iPad to keep up with news. Meanwhile, although the email hubbub "has not done huge violence to her presidential chances," it's "taking a toll on [her] public image," says a Quinnipiac pollster. The survey out today finds that no state has a majority of voters who find her trustworthy, and the margins between her and Republican opponents are tightening in the key states of Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, though Clinton "still runs best overall of any candidate." (Mixed results have been filtering in from other Clinton-themed polls.)
