Rice scored 46 points and the Eagles led by 18 at home in the second half, only to lose the ACC game 90-80 today, reports the Associated Press. Tyler Hansbrough had 25 points and Wayne Ellington 20 as the Tar Heels won their sixth straight. In other Top 25 action: No. 14 Butler jumped out to a 16-3 lead and Pete Campbell finished with 24 points in a 65-41 Horizon League win over Detroit. No. 16 Purdue moved into a tie with Wisconsin atop the Big Ten as freshman Robbie Hummel scored 15 points in a 68-43 win over Northwestern.
