Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show will be an unscheduled repeat tonight because the celeb injured his hand last night and had to cancel today's taping. It's still not clear what happened, but it was serious enough to require minor surgery, reports the Daily News. Fallon had been in good spirits at an Italian restaurant in New York City last night, and apparently hurt the hand in his apartment afterward, reports TMZ. He went to the hospital, where a specialist recommended immediate surgery.

“Hey guys - unfortunately tonight's taping has been cancelled due to Jimmy injuring his hand,” says the show's Twitter feed. “He's totally fine but we'll be airing a repeat." (More Jimmy Fallon stories.)
