Reddit is quickly running out of current and/or unblemished executives: As the New York Times reports, former Reddit CEO Yishan Wong is shedding some light on former AMA exec Victoria Taylor's mysterious firing, and he's pointing the blame squarely at co-founder Alexis Ohanian, who he writes in a Reddit post "had different ideas for AMAs, he didn't like Victoria's role, and decided to fire her." Wong spells out the hierarchy: Ohanian is the executive chairman of the board, making him [former interim CEO Ellen] Pao's boss.

"When the hate-train started up against Pao, Alexis should have been out front and center saying very clearly, 'Ellen Pao did not make this decision, I did,'" writes Wong. "Instead, he just sat back and let her take the heat," which in Wong's view was an "incredibly shitty thing to do." Pao resigned Friday. Meanwhile, the bloodletting continues at Reddit, reports Re/Code, with the abrupt departure of chief engineer Bethanye Blount, who quit after just two months on the job over what she sees as "some big bumps on the road ahead for Reddit."
