A Montana hiker found dead in Yellowstone National Park was the victim of a bear mauling, reports the AP, and tracks and evidence indicate that at least an adult female and a cub were involved. The man's name was not released and won't be until next of kin are notified; he's reportedly a long-term seasonal employee of Medcor, which runs three urgent care clinics in the park. His cause of death isn't yet official, and an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow to determine for certain, but CNN notes the presence of apparent defensive wounds on the man's arms. He was found Friday afternoon off of Elephant Back Loop Trail; his body was covered up and partially eaten. Bear traps were set in the area Friday evening and the area was closed down.
