Sharon Stone is featured in the new Harper's Bazaar, and the interview is making headlines for a slew of reasons:

  • She poses nude, at age 57, and is utterly unfazed by it. ("If I believed that sexy was trying to be who I was when I did Basic Instinct, then we'd all be having a hard day today.")
  • She opens up about her brain hemorrhage in 2001 and the lingering effects she still feels. On the upside, "I became more emotionally intelligent. ... And I can be abrasively direct. That scares people, but I think that's not my problem. It's like, I have brain damage; you'll just have to deal with it."

  • She says her love life is in sad shape. "I never get asked out," she says. "It's so stupid. I don't know what to do." As the interview ends, she grabs the reporter's tape recorder: "If there's anybody out there who's an adult and who would like to ask me out, please call Harper's Bazaar."
In its coverage, USA Today takes note of this tweet from Harper's editor Laura Brown: "I am fielding calls from gentlemen who want to date Sharon Stone. Typical Friday." Click for the interview and photos. (More Sharon Stone stories.)
