In the wake of Ashley Madison's massive hack and ensuing data leak, the CEO of the cheating website's parent company stepped down today, CNN reports. On Twitter, Time editor Alex Fitzpatrick has a statement from Avid Life Media on Noel Biderman's departure: "This change is in the best interest of the company and allows us to continue to provide support to our members and dedicated employees. We are steadfast in our commitment to our customer base. We are actively adjusting to the attack on our business and members' privacy by criminals." It adds that until a new CEO is found, "the existing senior management team" will lead the company. (Is this the Ashley Madison hacker?)
