(AP Photo/Brandon Wade) A football fan in his early 40s ended up in the hospital with a critical gunshot wound Sunday night after a parking lot fight outside the Dallas Cowboys' stadium. "I didn't think he was going to pull the trigger," a witness, who says the suspect first put the gun to his head, tells the Star-Telegram. Bystanders say the fight broke out about 8pm—an hour and a half after the Cowboys' 30-6 loss to New England—and was reported to police about 20 minutes later. "There were still a lot of people who were tailgating after the game," a police rep tells the AP. The suspect apparently injured himself in trying to flee and was also hospitalized; he faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
