Father, Son Dead in Double Hanging: Cops

A father and his adult son were found hanging from a tree at their Ohio home, and the coroner thinks both committed suicide. Miami County Coroner Dr. William Ginn says the men were discovered in the backyard of their home in Tipp City in western Ohio. The Troy Daily News reports that a neighbor called 911 and reported seeing the men hanging from a tree around 1:30pm Sunday. "They had not been dead for very long when they were discovered," Ginn says. He says he expects to have preliminary autopsy results this week, but toxicology results won't be available for several weeks. (More suicide stories.)
