Sinead O'Connor disturbed her followers with a Facebook post Sunday in which she said she'd taken an overdose of drugs while staying at a hotel "somewhere in Ireland" under a fake name. The singer posted on Saturday that she was "desperately in need of a job and a place to live" because she was "being treated so badly by my family that can barely manage to stay alive." In both that and Sunday's post, she said she was being barred from seeing her youngest sons by two ex-husbands, an older son, and an older daughter. But though she said in that post, "I have a HUGE spirit which wants to live," the following day—after a number of other distraught Facebook posts alleging child abuse, health issues related to herself and a child, and the custody battle—she wrote an even more disturbing post.

"If I wasn't posting this, my kids and family wouldn't even find out [I was] dead for another fortnight since none of them bother their hole with me for a minute," it reads. "I could have been dead here for weeks already and they'd never have known. ... well done guys, you've finally got rid of me." But police assured BreakingNews.ie Sunday night that O'Connor had been found in Dublin "safe and sound" and was getting medical help, and People also confirmed the news. Per TMZ, O'Connor's posts claim the trouble started after she had a hysterectomy in August and her family abandoned her; among the many she called out, even her son's girlfriend was included. O'Connor's rep confirms to Pitchfork that the 48-year-old singer is "unwell and receiving treatment." (These 51 celebrities have reportedly attempted suicide.)
