ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi called on the world's Muslims to join the fight in a message released on Saturday—but it turns out that the world's Muslims have better things to do. After human rights activist Iyad El-Baghdadi tweeted a translation of the ISIS call to arms, hundreds of people offered some hilarious reasons for turning the group down. A selection, per the CBC and the New York Daily News:

  • Hind al-Sulaiti: "I wanna wait until April and find out what happened to Jon Snow."
  • Mohammad Usman Aijaz: "Nah, I prefer to sleep in and binge watch shows on Netflix."
  • Aim Amraam: "Sorry but I'm watching Star Wars, maybe tomorrow..."

  • Zaid Shaikh: "Sorry dude! Playing Rise of the Tomb Raiders and then have a new year party planned."
  • Ehab: "Nah sorry dude. I'm busy binging Golden Girls.. Much more fun than your boring psychopath club membership."
  • Safiyya-Maryam Ahmed: "My dad said I have to be home by 8pm. Will we be done by then?"
  • Boorbuck: "Too busy being part of a civilised and functioning society. Also, Sherlock S04 in 4 days."
