Once tough-as-nails former baseball star Lenny Dykstra is still as irrepressible as ever, and soon his characteristic voice will be reaching pro athletes across the nation—if they subscribe to his magazine. The Players Club offers personal and financial guidance to its readership, and will be "the world’s best magazine," Dykstra told the New Yorker.

Dykstra's "mind-boggling" idea incorporates everything from retirement advice (put half a million away each year) to romance assists (call up the Players Club from the clubhouse to have flowers sent to your wife). The free magazine will also let athletes and agents read NBA stars' takes on video games and baseballers' reviews of food: Dykstra's slogan is "Keep Living the Dream." (More Lenny Dykstra stories.)
