"When I turned 40," former supermodel Tyra Banks once told People, "the one thing I was not happy about is that I did not have kids." All that has changed with the birth of Banks' son, York Banks Asla, via a gestational surrogate, People reports. Banks tells the magazine that she and boyfriend Erik Asla "are so excited for our new baby boy bundle of joy."

In a Wednesday Instagram post featuring a blue-and-pink-striped baby hat, Banks says young York has her fingers and dad's mouth and chin. "As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone," writes Banks, who has spoken in the past of her difficulties in becoming pregnant.
