The husband of British soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae has been found dead from a suspected drug overdose at his home in the UK. Jason Rae, 31, a saxophone player, is said to have struggled with drug abuse for years, according to Britain's Daily Mail. His band, the Haggis Horns, had backed Amy Winehouse.
Rae's reputation for hard partying contrasts with his wife's squeaky-clean image. In a recent interview the 29-year-old Grammy winner said: "I know what people say about me: Where are your feisty lyrics? Why aren't you stumbling drunkenly out of a club? That's not me. I'd rather be hidden in a room writing songs." (More Corinne Bailey Rae stories.)
