Celebrity | Erin Andrews Erin Andrews Settles With Hotel Over Peephole Videos But we'll probably never know how much she got By Evann Gastaldo Posted Apr 25, 2016 4:05 PM CDT Copied Sportscaster and television host Erin Andrews leaves the courtroom with attorney Scott Carr, left, after the verdict was read in her lawsuit Monday, March 7, 2016, in Nashville, Tenn. (AP Photo/Mark Humphrey) Erin Andrews has settled her lawsuit against the owner and operator of the hotel where she was recorded through a door peephole in 2008. The former ESPN reporter was awarded $55 million in her lawsuit against those business entities as well as Michael David Barrett, the stalker who filmed her. But since Barrett would likely have been unable to pay much, if any, of the $28 million he was ordered to, Andrews' lawyers argued that the owner and operator of the Nashville Marriott should have to pay the full $55 million. The settlement agreement was reached Monday morning, hours before lawyers were expected in the courtroom to discuss that argument. The settlement is confidential, but one of Andrews' lawyers says she is "satisfied." Read These Next US may have fired a new type of missile in the Iran war.
