The Houston Rockets were able to fend off a surprisingly frisky Sacramento Kings team and earn a 108-100 victory. The win is the 800th of coach Rick Adelman’s career, which is the third most amongst active coaches and 14th all-time. Adelman earned 395 of those wins while coaching the Kings, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Rafer Alston scored 11 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter for Houston; he went 7-for-8 from the line in the final period as the Rockets hit a season-high 33 free throws. Tracy McGrady turned his ankle four minutes into the game and consequently scuffled through the first three quarters, but was able to find a rhythm in the fourth. He ended up with 17 points.
