A "disheveled" man who sources say had previously been caught lurking near Taylor Swift's home in Rhode Island was detained Tuesday while hanging around outside of her Tribeca apartment in New York City and ringing her doorbell, police say, per Page Six. He's been identified as 25-year-old Lucas Vorsteveld and also described by Page Six as being "unshaven" with "curly, unkempt hair" when he was approached by cops. TMZ adds that law enforcement noted Vorsteveld was "emotionally disturbed."

Swift's security staff spotted Vorsteveld outside Swift's Manhattan home and detained him until cops could get there. Vorsteveld—who the New York Daily News says apparently had a duffel bag that was searched by police, based on video taken at the scene—was whisked to a nearby hospital for a psych evaluation (NBC News and Fox News note no arrests were made). Swift reportedly wasn't home at the time. (Swift recently gave $250,000 to Kesha to help her out "with any of her financial needs.")
