The Tennessee Lady Vols beat Purdue 78-52 to move onto the regional semifinals and give coach Pat Summitt her 100th career win in the NCAA tournament. She's the first coach, men’s or women’s, to reach that milestone. Top-seeded Tennessee will face either Oklahoma or Notre Dame in the Sweet Sixteen in Oklahoma City, reports to the Associated Press. Elsewhere in the women’s tournament:

  • It took 12 attempts but the Louisville Cardinals finally advanced to the regional semi-finals after besting Kansas State 80-63. Candyce Bingham nearly had a triple-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists
  • Chante Black scored a career-high 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, as Duke also reached the Sweet Sixteen with a 67-59 win over Arizona State.
