The FBI and the San Diego Police Department are trying to track down the person behind a Craiglist ad that threatened San Diego's gay community with an Orlando-style massacre. "We need more Orlando's (sic)" read the now-deleted ad in the site's "Men Seeking Men" section, reports 10News, which was sent a screenshot. "Orlando was long overdue. Cleanse your community of the filth that gives decent gay men and women a bad name," the ad continued. "Those people were walking diseases, bug chasers, and thank god for AIDS and 9-11 and now Orlando. San Diego you are next … "

An FBI special agent tells 10News that the Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating, and "all lawful means" will be used to track down the source of the threat, which the FBI is taking very seriously. San Diego Police Chief Shelley Zimmerman issued a statement saying that the department is also looking into the post, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. "We are investigating collaboratively with our law enforcement partners," she said. "The latest information remains, there are no known credible threats to the San Diego region. As always, we encourage our community if they see something, hear something, or know something, to say something." (More Pulse Orlando shooting stories.)
