Celebrity / Rolling Stones Keith Riffs on 'Boinky' Groupies, Sexy Mick Jagger's 'excruciating campness' gets a dig in wide-ranging GQ sit-down By Caroline Zimmerman, Newser Staff Posted Mar 28, 2008 2:07 PM CDT Copied Keith Richards, left, and Mick Jagger, right, of The Rolling Stones pose at the Berlinale Film Festival in Berlin, Germany, Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008. (Associated Press) Rolling Stones mummy Keith Richards is still kicking, and GQ got him talking about—what else?—sex, drugs and rock 'n roll in his Manhattan "office" while he downed a vodka on the rocks. Richards doesn't debunk any myths, certainly. "It wasn't just boinky-boinky" with the groupies, he said. "They used to rub Vicks on your chest if you had a cold." And Mick Jagger? They may now share "a stable" number of women, but after Jagger slept with the mother of Richards' three kids in the 60s, Keith "made a point of stealing" every woman Mick had. When asked how gay Jagger might've been "at his gayest" in the 1980s, Richards dismissed it as "a load of excruciatingly painful campness." (More Rolling Stones stories.) Report an error
