The Maryland Terrapins are on their way to the Spokane Regional finals after a decisive 80-66 defeat of Vanderbilt, reports the Washington Post. The top-seeded Terps followed the lead of Crystal Langhorne, who put up 28 points and nine boards and helped keep the Commodores from ever truly threatening a victory. Next up for Maryland is Stanford, who also had a good night:

The Cardinal stayed strong on defense to wrap up a 72-53 victory over Pittsburgh and notch its 21st straight win. With the Panthers all over Candice Wiggins, Rosalyn Gold-Onwude came through with 15 points and Jayne Appel shone with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Stanford finished with 54 rebounds to Pitt's 30, and didn't build its lead until the final minutes. (More women's college basketball stories.)
