Let this be a lesson to you, hecklers: Don't tease the golf pros, because you might just get called out, brought onto the putting green, challenged ... and end up sinking the tricky putt yourself?! Yes, that's the sure-to-become-legend story of David Johnson, a US golf fan who was watching warm-up rounds before practice began at the Ryder Cup Thursday at Minnesota's Hazeltine. Team Europe's Andy Sullivan and Rory McIlroy kept missing the putt on the 6th green, and when their teammate Henrik Stenson heard Johnson heckling them from the sidelines, Stenson challenged Johnson to come on up and try the putt himself. Another teammate, Justin Rose, bet Johnson $100 he couldn't make the shot. But, after a few practice swings ... he did just that, prompting "wild applause from the crowd," CNN reports—and apparently winning him $100. (More golf stories.)
