If your idea of undying romance involves padlocks, well, New York City is now cracking down on your love life. Specifically, New York is now rewarding would-be Romeos with a $100 fine for their efforts, but the AP notes that the city's effort is not without a wink: One warning sign advises "No lock, yes lox," with a picture of a crossed-out lock and a bagel. But the padlock Casanovas are a real nuisance, with 11,000 locks removed from the bridge last year at a cost of $116,000. (More Brooklyn Bridge stories.)
