Brad Pitt hadn't seen his children since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce last month, but on Saturday, he saw some of them. Sources tell Us a monitor was there for the visit, as agreed upon by Pitt and Jolie beforehand, and that one may continue to be present at future visits. It's not clear which of the couple's six kids—Maddox, 15; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8—saw their dad, who is still under investigation by LA's family services department for allegedly getting physical with Maddox while the family was on a private jet last month. Sources had previously told TMZ any physical contact Pitt had with Maddox may have been "inadvertent."

Pitt volunteered to take random drug and alcohol tests during the investigation, and a source says the first one came back negative. "[He] will cooperate in any way he can to see the kids," a friend says. "By agreeing to this, he can see them, which is what he wanted." In Touch Weekly reports that he "had tears in his eyes and tried to hold it together" upon seeing the kids. Currently, the couple still shares legal custody but Jolie has physical custody of the children until Oct. 20, at which point social workers will decide how to move forward. In terms of criminal charges, TMZ reported earlier this month that Jolie does not want Pitt prosecuted and would not cooperate with authorities were they to attempt to press charges.
