Paul Ryan was re-elected Speaker of the House by the 115th Congress on Tuesday, CNN reports. According to the Wall Street Journal, he won the vote 239-189. His re-election to the position is further evidence that Donald Trump's election has soothed relations among Republican lawmakers. "For all of our arguments and all of our differences, we are all united by a deep, abiding love of our country," CNN quotes Ryan as saying. Only one Republican didn't vote for Ryan; that number was nine when he was first elected speaker in 2015. Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi was re-elected minority leader with four Democrats voting for someone else. (More Paul Ryan stories.)
