Super Bowl Could Give Look at Big New Movies
Hollywood is expected to use the Super Bowl to give viewers new looks at some big upcoming films.   (YouTube)

We already know we're going to see Melissa McCarthy save the world and Budweiser upset some anti-immigration viewers, but commercial breaks during Sunday's Super Bowl will also give us brand-new looks at a bunch of Hollywood movies. Here are five films the Independent reports may debut new trailers or teasers during the big game:

  1. The Fate of the Furious: The eighth entry in the Fast & Furious franchise. Starring Vin Diesel and a bunch of cars, presumably.
  2. Life: A Space Station crew maybe discovers evidence of alien life. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, and Rebecca Ferguson.
  3. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: The sequel to Marvel's most surprising hit adds Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone.
  4. Baywatch: Like Baywatch the TV show but with less David Hasselhoff and more Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
  5. Star Wars Episode VIII—The Last Jedi: Probably needs no explanation.
