Another break in the case of Vanessa Marcotte, the 27-year-old Massachusetts woman murdered while out for a jog in August: Authorities say they have DNA and are looking for a person of interest. Specifically, the DA says that, based on info from the DNA as well as witness statements, they are seeking a 30-something Hispanic or Latino male with light to medium brown skin, a shaved head or short hair, and an athletic build. The person would have been around the central Massachusetts town of Princeton where Marcotte was killed on Aug. 7 and may have had scratches on his upper body around that time.

As for the DNA, authorities didn't say where they found it, but did say they believe it is from the person of interest, the Boston Globe reports. The DA advised anyone who thinks they know the man to alert authorities rather than confronting him. Authorities are also still looking for a dark SUV; WCVB reports that the person of interest is believed to have been driving such an SUV. (More Vanessa Marcotte stories.)
