Melissa McCarthy and Alec Baldwin could be mistaken for Saturday Night Live cast members at this point in the season, reports NPR, as both returned Saturday in their recurring roles as Sean Spicer and President Trump, respectively. In the Cold Open, Baldwin held forth in the Oval Office, running through his list of accomplishments (a single-item list: "Nominate Neil Gorsuch"), before holding a reality show-esque showdown between Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner (the former portrayed as the Grim Reaper, the latter played by guest host Jimmy Fallon) in which the loser was sent to "join Kellyanne Conway in the basement." McCarthy, meanwhile, meandered through a series of Hitler references, admonishing the press that, "It would be really great if the nitpickers could try to see the big picture, and didn't solely focus on every little slur and lie I say." Catch both clips in the gallery. (More Saturday Night Live stories.)
