Police say they didn't find alcohol in Tiger Woods' system after his DUI arrest early Monday—but dashcam video released Wednesday makes it easy to see why they thought there might have been. In video released by the police department in Jupiter, Fla., the golfer stumbles, slurs his words, and seems extremely confused, CNN reports. Woods, who was found asleep at the wheel with his car running in the right lane, tells the Florida officers he is in Los Angeles and on his way to Orange County. The full video lasts for almost an hour and 40 minutes, beginning with police approaching Woods' car and ending with him being brought to the police station in handcuffs, the AP reports.
In the video, Woods struggles with basic tasks. When an officer tells him to tie his left shoe, he unties his right shoe and ends up performing the field sobriety tests barefoot, ESPN reports. He is unable to follow a light with his eyes when asked and fails to stay balanced on the white line when asked. Asked to walk a straight line heel-to-toe, he staggers, strays from the line, and never connects heel to toe. After failing to understand the instructions twice, he manages to recite the alphabet before he is handcuffed and taken into custody. Woods has apologized for his conduct, saying he was badly affected by a mix of medications. (More Tiger Woods stories.)
