Donald Trump apparently has a friend in Lindsay Lohan, whom he once said is "probably deeply troubled and therefore great in bed." Lohan took to Twitter early Tuesday to defend the president, responding to a Breitbart article that quoted Trump as saying he would be "delighted" to help a critically ill British infant, whom the European Court of Human Rights considers too ill for experimental medicine, reports People. "THIS IS our president," Lohan tweeted. "Stop #bullying him & start trusting him. Thank you personally for supporting #THEUSA." She went on to describe Trump and his family members as "kind people."

Some users responded by expressing "respect" for the Mean Girls actress, but others accused Trump of being the true bully. "Stop trying to make Trump happen. It's not going to happen," another user tweeted, referencing a line from Mean Girls. This isn't the first time Trump has been backed by Lohan, who turned 31 on Sunday, per Refinery29. "I think always in the public eye you're going to get scrutinized," she said of Trump in an interview in February, per People. "He is the president—we have to join him. If you can't beat him, join him." (Lohan, who is planning a return to acting, just launched a lifestyle website.)
