Two teens in Myrtle Beach, SC, have apparently never heard the phrase "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"—though in this case, Vegas is "the water park." Logan Brooke Larrimore and Farren Marie Lane, both 18, were arrested and charged Wednesday with third-degree burglary after cops say they got their hands on Snapchat videos that showed the girls trespassing in the middle of the night at a local water park, WMBF reports. Per the State, Myrtle Waves staff on Monday reported a burglary that had taken place over the weekend, and when police started investigating, an unidentified woman came forward with at least two Snapchat videos that allegedly showed Larrimore and Lane enjoying themselves at the park about 4am Saturday.
Per the police report, the videos "clearly depict the offenders inside of the [water park] after hours." Cops say Larrimore can be witnessed in one of the videos admitting to "jumping the fence" and stating that "we went down all the slides." The teens are also accused of swiping $8 worth of the park's Italian ices. The woman who had the Snapchat videos was able to discover their names from their accounts, and the police took it from there, finding the teens through their DMV records. (More Snapchat stories.)
