The weather in Florida can be wild, but we're not sure it's ever rained frozen meat before. WPLG reports a Deerfield Beach family was woken up by a loud noise Saturday morning. Travis Adair says it sounded "like thunder." The actual cause was less meteorological: The family found two packages of frozen Italian sausage in the yard and another three on the roof.

The packages—containing 15 pounds of sausage in total—were marked with the name of an Alabama land-clearing company, but the company claims the sausage is a mystery to it as well. It's a mystery the Adair family still hopes to solve. "I thought possibly it had fallen from a plane," Adair's wife, Jennie, says. "I thought possibly it was something to do with a drug deal or something." (More sausage stories.)
