A central California teenager who livestreamed a crash that killed her younger sister says all of her friends film while driving. "We do it all the time—all the time. Trust me, it's like a reflex," Obdulia Sanchez told CBS Fresno in a phone call from jail. "Everybody does it. Why not?" Sanchez, 18, said that she's sorry about the July 21 crash that killed her sister Jacqueline, 14, and badly injured another teen. Sanchez admitted livestreaming the ride on Instagram in shocking footage that included the moment of the crash and her much-vilified declaration, "I f------ killed my sister ... I know I'm going to jail for life ... I don't f------ care at all." A contrite Sanchez told CBS, "I didn't even know I looked like ... a freaking horrible monster. That was not my intention at all."

Sanchez said she was driving on a road near Los Banos and "we were perfectly freaking fine," when her car veered left and flipped. "I look in the back seat—and there's nobody in the back seat," Sanchez said. Jacqueline and a friend, also 14, were thrown from the car; neither was wearing a seatbelt. Sanchez has pleaded not guilty to vehicular manslaughter, drunk driving, and other charges. Her lawyer says a tire blew out, causing the car to veer off the road, per ABC30. Sanchez told CBS she knew her sister was dead but continued to livestream, even filming her sister's body. Then another sister, who didn't know about the accident, called to tell her, "Dad wants you to be home in an hour." Sanchez added, "I just started [bawling]—crying. Like I didn't know what to tell my dad." (A musician livestreamed his suicide by fire.)
