The chief of Amazon's TV and movie division was suspended with immediate effect Thursday after a producer accused him of "shocking and surreal" sexual harassment. Isa Hackett, a producer of The Man in the High Castle, told the Hollywood Reporter that Amazon Studios chief Roy Price made lewd advances to her at an Amazon staff party in 2015. Hackett said Price, who had met her for the first time that night, repeatedly propositioned her in a taxi on the way to the event, telling her that she would love his penis. She said she made it very clear that she was not interested but he continued to harass her at the party and shouted "Anal sex!" in her ear as she talked with other Amazon execs.

Amazon says Price "is on a leave of absence effective immediately," the New York Times reports. Hackett, daughter of Man in the High Castle author Philip K. Dick, said she reported the harassment at the time, but she wasn't told what the result of the investigation was. She declined to discuss the incident when the Information tech site reported on it in August, but told the Reporter she decided to go public after other women shared their stories of being harassed or assaulted by Harvey Weinstein. "I feel inspired by the other women who have been far braver than I am, who have come forward," she said. "I hope we all continue to inspire each other and ultimately create change." (Rose McGowan said Thursday that Amazon execs knew "'HW' raped" her.)
